Charles Dickens

Dover like Rochester and Broadstairs had many connections with Charles Dickens. A short film made by Alternate Shadows (a Rochester based amateur theatre company) was made to celebrate that most famous of Rochester’s sons, Charles Dickens.

It reveals some lesser known aspects of Dickens’ life and characters, and possibly generate some interest in local amateur dramatics.
